[9th July 2024]– XPENG Motors (“XPENG” or the “Company,” NYSE: XPEV and HKEX: 9868), a leading Chinese smart electric vehicle (“Smart EV”) company today announced it will showcase its latest European model, the G6 during the company’s UK event debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.
The iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed is back for 2024, featuring an incredible display of motoring and motorsport history. This year XPENG UK will make its UK event debut at the festival, showcasing its latest European model, the G6. The ultra smart coupe SUV will be on display in a multi brand showcase, where attendees will get a first glance of the vehicle. Motor enthusiasts will also be able to see the G6’s intelligent innovation put to the test on Goodwood’s infamous Hill Climb.
During the four-day event, 200,000 attendees from over 75 countries will enter the gates of historic Goodwood House to preview the latest cars from world-famous brands. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit XPENG in the first glance paddock to learn more about how the smart vehicle company has combined spacious comfort-focused interior with cutting-edge AI-powered technology.
The G6 features XPENG’s innovative SEPA 2.0 platform with 800V architecture and the most advanced software technology. The high degree of space and comfort and its uncompromising standard equipment means the G6 has everything to win the hearts of UK EV drivers.
The event comes as XPENG continues its European expansion, earlier this year the company announced its official entry into the German and French market, with the G6 being available to order in the UK later this year. During the Festival of Speed prospective UK customers will be able to learn more about XPENG, preview the G6 and see it in action as it makes its debut on the Goodwood hill climb.
